Originating from the slums of Amman, Jordan, the members of ESODIC have always openly acknowledged their primary inspirations drawn from thrash metal legends such as Slayer, Testament, and Kreator. Confronted with the country’s increasingly autocratic regime, their leader and drummer, Zed Amarin, relocated to Los Angeles, where he restructured the lineup and infused their music with a significant dose of death metal alongside subtle oriental influences. The result is a sound evocative of a scorching sandstorm.
